Crysis was amazing. People that think it wasn't didn't give it enough of a chance. It did things no other game has done. That nanosuit was an innovation, and the gameplay opportunities it provided, in conjunction with the physics engine, were nothing short of revolutionary.

L2P with your full toolbox first, and then you can complain that the game wasn't deep enough.

Please change the way we view the pictures on your site this is shit. click zoom and the picture stays the same size? then one more click new window not even new tab. to see the next picture you got to click back and then zoom!!! to a new one that is the same size. Lets see. Halo 1 on XBOX came out in 2001. Halo 1 on PC came out in 2003. It's now 2010. If you go on xfire.com, click GAMES, you will see what people are playing on PC. If you find Halo, you can usually find it within the top 35 games out of probably 1700 others. After 7 years, it doesn't look like Halo will be 'dead' anytime soon. Oh and Crysis' rank is horrible. I don't remember what it was offhand. I don't see Crysis 2 taking off, either, even though, 3 years later, you would THINK by now more people have newer systems that can actually run the game. Oh wait, that's right. We're in a recession. So I think Halo will still come out ahead. Plus, Halo is easy in comparison to Crysis. It works well with older gamers with slower motor skills.

I'm not liking the art direction of the guns and HUD. As long as the game still has what made Crysis great: Making you feel badass, it's a winner

halo killed it'sself if youa sk me , the serious started out great , the second game added a few new things but over all lacked the luster of the first and the third game i just found ... anti climatical halo killed halo so how could something else kill something that is already dead (imo).

I want at least one game which instead of investing all that money on graphics, invest it on longer games, and compelling interactive stories.

I would've tried crysis but my GTX 280 said "NO" when I tried to boot it up... hopefully #2 won't make it do that again or I might need an RMA/new game.
The first one was ok...I hope this next one will be better then Halo at least, even if it is better, Halo will still be around for quite some time.

nice one. They will be releasing the CryEngine developer kit, so couple of programmers and designers could join up to develop DNF based on this engine.

Problem is, which publisher/developer still holds the Duke Nukem's copyright?

Call me a humbug, but I don't see this looking any better in DX11 than DX9. More so since this is made for consoles. (even though it's promised to look better than consoles).

I'm hoping DX12 & the Cry-engine 4 in 2012 will finally kill off DX9 forever.

Most likely because it is a console screen shot at 720P. Consoles can't play games any higher than that, upscaling aside.
