Ultra slim - college laptop advice

I am heading to college and want to get a smaller laptop that is light and small. No need for gaming because i have another one for that. The primary use will be pp,excel and internet research. I don't want my budget to exceed $800. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just wait a bit, Ultrabooks using Intel's Ivy Bridge CPU and UltraSleek / UltraSlim (or whatever term AMD uses for their very thin laptops) using the new Trinity APU should be showing up sometime in the middle of June. You have plenty of time since the fall semester doesn't generally begin until lat August or early Sept.

Unless of course you are going to summer semester...
