Ultrabook around $500?

Might be a lot to ask, but any thing you would suggest? OR wait for the windows 8 books?

I don't think Ultrabooks are going to hit that price target. I think 2nd gen Ultrabooks basically start at about $800. They basically debuted last year at around $1,000.

AMD's Ultrathin laptop are rumored to launch at about $200 less than Intel based Ultrabooks so Ultrathins should be available at around $600 once they are released sometime next month.
