Hi

Next year i am spending a lot of my time away from home and so wanted a laptop that can play Smite (minimum and recommended system requirements below). I have a 120gb mac retina display and a r9 270x/overclocked amd fx 6300 desktop. I was surprised that the mac with dualboot windows could not play smite on 720p with everything on low, my fps was at best 14 and normally around 1! (I don't mind not playing on high settings i just want a very high fps for a smooth experience)

What I would like to do is sell the macbook pro (late 2013) and use this to fund another laptop capable of playing this game but also portable for uni work.

For this to be viable i need this laptop to be the following:
- Costing around £650-700
- A good screen, 1080p minimum with good colours
- portability - I would prefer a 13-14 ultrabook but a 15.6 would be ok if of a compact design
- decent battery
- Able to play smite smoothly ( I'm not too bothered about graphics quality but must be high fps)
- SSD would be preferential but not a deal breaker

Minimum requirements:
OS: Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz
RAM: 2GB (XP), 3GB (Vista, Win7)
Graphic card: ATI or Nvidia graphics card with 512MB video ram or better and Shader Model 3.0+ support. (ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher).
Sound card: DirectX compatible sound card
Hard drive: 10 GB free
Recommended system requirements :
OS:64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
Processor:Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
Memory:4 GB RAM
Graphics:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 / AMD Radeon HD 6950 or better with 768 MB+ of VRAM (DirectX 11 Compatible)
Hard Drive Space:10 GB
Other Requirements:Broadband Internet connection
