Hey guys

Ive bought the AMD II X2 555 Black Edition processor and im trying to unlock the 2 additional cores.

the problem is, when I go into the bios and set ACC to auto, then unleashing mode enabled, save and exit, all is fine by this moment, but when i get to the Windows 7 is loading logo, Windows just restarts itself and it will keep restarting at the same point untill i revert back to 2 cores.

Any fix ?

That indicated your chip can't unlock. It should help if you increase core voltage but no gaurantees.

The chips are not designed to be unlocked. They locked cores are either faulty or don't pass specs. If your chip boots then it probably isn't faulty but probably can't run at default specs. Usually higher voltage should stabilize it but don't use the stock cooler as it won't be enough.

No fix. One or both of the cores your unlocking is bad. Try unlocking just one core to get an x3 out of it, under acc look for core operation, and try selecting cores: 0,1,3 or 0,1,2 to see if one of the two extra cores are any good.

Try more voltage first. You may still be able to get all 4 cores working. Its usually good if it boots, crashing on windows shows instability or perhaps overheating.
