Unlocked iPhone 4s with Verizon using straight talk

I have an unlocked iPhone 4s that uses Verizon towers and is compatible with straight talk. I couldn't get it to work so I called customer service and their fix was to put either the T-Mobile or att sim in the phone which I reluctantly did and now I can at least make phone calls and text but I have no data even after trying all the apn updates I could find. This is very frustrating

Nothing we can do here, you need to work with Straight Talk. The issue you are seeing is correct for using a non-compatible SIM in the phone, you can get phone service but not data.
