Hello :)

I'm thinking about upgrading my HP4720s probook with a SSD drive. Thing is, I would like to use it instead of a DVD (OBHD - hdd caddy) and as far as I know, DVD is communicating via SATA1. Which would be useless for a SSD. And I don't know if this "speed limitation" is due sata port on motherboard or dvd drive (which is always SATA1 I guess).

So, does anyone know if I attach SATA2 SSD/HDD to that port, how "fast" will it go?

I'dont have any spare SATA2 HDD to open up my probook and try it out for myself...
