upgrade laptop with ssd

Hi Team,
My laptop is Lenovo z580 i5 4GB ram .. 4 years old .. now it has become pretty slow with the windows 10 update. Want to update it with Samsung ssd 512 GB , please let me know your suggestions on this.

Upgrade with another 4 gb ram stick and yes, the ssd upgrade will make your laptop snappier.
