Please suggest me, if there is any other best SSD.
(still deciding on 256GB or 512GB). Any help appreciated on this one as well (best one - regardless of size)

My current Usage of memory shows me a usage of 4.5GB to 6.5GB Memory (7.78 Usable memory) when I use my laptop at work. (my hardrive usage shows 100% utilization most of the time - some times system freezes as well. Its a new laptop - but comes back to normal in few seconds may be 10 or 20 sometimes 30 as well and works fine as normal)

I heard that, the SSD will make use of the system memory from around 512MB to 1GB (Please correct me if i am wrong)

Do, I need to upgrade my RAM to 16GB, or will my 8GB RAM is enough to deal with?
Can some one please suggest me on this.

Thanks in Advance.

Just the SSD won't require the RAM upgrade - however, utilizing Adobe CQ5, you were probably hitting 100% HDD utilization because you were using virtual memory. 16GB, especially on larger files/projects will make a difference. The SSD will be great performance boost.

Unless you plan on utilizing the drive as the only storage device in the laptop, 256GB should be enough. To save money - I would look at an external drive if you need a lot of file storage.

Thanks for the reply ronintexas. I will just go with SSD for now, if it really needed a 16GB. I will think about it then. I had an external western digital drive 1TB. So will go with 256gb Ssd. Thanks again.

Samsung ssd 256gb doesn't provide a cable with it. I don't want to spend a lot on that as it is a one time use. Can you please suggest me a cable to use on ssd for cloning process using samsung data migration software.
