upgrade windows 7 hp laptop hard drive with samsung 850 pro ssd, how?

Hi,

My hp probook laptop is currently running a slow machanical drive. i managed to get a good price on the samsung pro 850 512gb ssd from amazon. So now how do i go about upgrading my laptop with this new SSD?

Hi,

You'll just need to insert the new SSD as your replacement HDD then run your Operating System disc depending what you have originally and you can use the same product key with as well with your laptop with the new SSD. sorry forgot to mention in the question.. I need to copy the data from the hd to the ssd. Migrate the data so I can carry on easily from the ssd once all the data of hd copied/restored onto SSD. How can I do this??
