Upgrading graphics card on laptop?

This should be a rather simple question; is it possible to upgrade a laptop that has an intergrated graphics card? If this is possible and can I do this myself? The laptop is a dell studio xps 16.

Dell forum members say the Studio xps 16 can not be video upgraded, the discrete cards are soldered to the motherboard.
