is it possible to upgrade the HDD in the ASUS Zenbook UX32A-DH51 to an SSD myself?

Yes. I would highly recommend saving all your docs to another drive and doing a fresh install of the OS, but if you can't, you just have to be prepared to do a little bit of work to get the SSD ready. Again, if possible, do a fresh install of the OS.
