I got a blue yeti microphone which I want to use for recording music and youtube video audio. It worked great for about 20 minutes and I got good sound out of it. Now suddenly during recordings it just blacks out every 10 seconds or so. There's little hitches in the sound and it ruins the recordings completely. I went back to the store and got a brand new one, and still the same issue. I've tried switching it to several usb ports, using usb 3.0 ports, i've tried uninstalling all my audio drivers and then reinstalling them, reinstalling my graphics driver, using different recording software. Nothing. Still these annoying hitches. I recently clean installed windows 10 and I know windows 10 has been known for audio issues. It's been giving me other sound issues too.
Windows 10 64 bit
AMD fx-6300 6-core cpu
8gb 1600mhz vram
UPDATE: So I called the bluemic company and the guy on the phone told me to make sure my usb ports are getting enough power, and if they aren't then to get a powered usb hub for the microphone... Now honestly I wouldn't be surprised if this was it because sometimes if you plug one more usb peripheral into my pc the other usb peripherals will malfunction or act strange. What do you guys think?
