If it's a ppc with a compact flash slot you could get a compact flash
network card. I've done this before when testing some VoIP apps, i needed
to bypass my firewall so I used the network card and plugged right into my
cable modem. If you don't have a cf slot the only other thing I can suggest
would be wifi but then you'd have to put your access point directly on the
internet and if you have a router/ap combo it gets complicated.
