Use of RCA input and output in Behringer X1622 USB

I connected my tablet audio out to the aux input of the mixer and tried to hear the sound through main or sub out monitors.I could hear the sound only through the headphones out but not in the main out or sub out.Please advise.

Correct for your mixer?

What connections and cables are you using from the main out and sub outs to the speakers?

Not understanding your RCA reference per se. Main outputs on the X1622 require 1/4 TS unbalanced as I understand the specs.
