is it possible to use a 4000 watt amp with 2100 watt subs and head unit in the home, plugged into the wall outlet?

Well in the UK a wall outlet is 3Kw. I doubt you will find a 13.8v PSU (typical car voltage) capable of this peak wattage so you will need a car battery hooked to some form of heavy duty charger. The battery would handle the peak power while the charger runs and tops up the battery.

Sounds completely impractical but doable.

On 120v USA outlet there is only about 1500watts in the wall. A way around the wattage limit is to plug into a different outlet on a different breaker (I think). 240v has about 4800watts.

240v x 13A = 3120w

UK is 3Kw, not 4.8
