Using laptop with Nvidia Shield portable to stream games?

I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to play Battlefield 3 on my laptop that is connected to my Nvidia shield portable that is streaming from a desktop computer at my home. The reason I would like to do this is so that I can use a mouse and keyboard instead of using the thumb sticks on my Nvidia shield portable.

I just cannot find this information anywhere online. So I'm coming to you guys for help. Thanks for giving my thread a read.

What make and model of laptop do you have? Does it have a dedicated graphics card or is it running integrated graphics?

I need to state my question differently. I want to play through the laptop.

I have a desktop PC that is paired to the shield.

I want to hook the shield that is hooked to my desktop PC to the laptop while I am away from home to take advantage of the keyboard and laptop.

There is an easier way use steam in home streaming and play some music on your shield tablet while you are gaming 😉 it is not needed for this
