Using my US laptop in Ireland

If I have a 110-220 transformer will there be any other issues while using my laptop in Ireland? Also, Might sound like a stupid question but would my NIC pick up a signal from the WiFi there?

Besides the voltage transformer you also have a wall socket plug adapter?

No problems picking up WiFi. It's pretty much the same standard everywhere.

hi i just wanted to point out, most laptop adapters work with 220VAC since you already have a transformer in there that converts the 110VAC to whatever the laptop need is (most is about 12VDC)

You know, somewhere in the back off my head I knew this because I remember actually seeing it on the laptop transformer, which I have just done again..doh! Thanks!
