Using the stronger graphics card

Hi,
I have an AMD Radeon HD 8650G and an AMD Radeon HD 8970M on my laptop.(came as default, no changes)
When in-game (such as GTA V) in the setting menu under Graphics, it always shows having ~750MBs of memory instead of the ~2048MBs that it should be using.
I have updated to the new Crimson driver (15.12) but I can't figure it out.

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that I've suggested to other who had the problem.

After doing the clean install of the graphics card make sure to set your games to running using AMD processor.
