I would like to know how to unlock my Galaxy S5 from Verizon so I can use it with metro pcs

The safest route to doing that is to ask Verizon for a PUK or Personal Unlocking Key, and present that to Metro. The old service provider is entitled to any outstanding charges under their contract and to avoid paying those, some folks try to unlock by another method.

There are businesses which claim to be able to unlock but they forget to tell you that they can't alter the IMEI reference number and the outgoing service provider and block the device even if it has a SIM from another company.

As in most things, the legal and legitimate way is the best.
