All the UW colleges in Wisconsin have gigabit access when i went to a couple of them and the one im at now allows a gigabit port just for our 150+ person LAN events. Only club on campus to get one too :)

[citation][nom]zzz_b[/nom]This is a lot of money! I couldn't afford it :-(Hopefully once there will be competition in this area the price will go down.[/citation]
no it wont. the us cell providers are the most obvious cartels i have ever seen. they are fixing prices and there is virtually no competition,
citizens need to take their govt back from the corporates.

It will be interesting to see where this goes. For me, even with desperately wanting to get off scam runner, it does not seem worth it.

One thing for sure, I hear a giant sucking sound from Verizon siphoning money out of their customer's pockets.

And another thing, if Verizon is among those carriers _claiming_ they are short on wireless bandwidth, this is a clear indicator that they are undoubtedly NOT short on such bandwidth. If they are claiming they are short on such bandwidth, it's clearly a marketing LIE. 😛
