Solved! VGA to HDMI Converter?

I bought an 32 inch lcd tv which has a couple of hdmi ports and also a dell laptop which has only hdmi connectivity option.

The television says no device found if i connect the laptop to it using the hdmi cable.

Is there any solution for it ?

Are there any hdmi to vga converters for the same ?

Try hold down fn+f9 to get it to work. Either that or you can go into the display properties and manually change it over. Doing this will turn off the laptop LCD and send the signal to the TV.
