[citation][nom]nebun[/nom]people actually play this excuse of a game? what's up with the graphics?[/citation]
Not everything has to be photo realistic.

[citation][nom]neiroatopelcc[/nom]splitscreen ? cool! we played borderlands 3 man last weekend at a lan still a great game. I just hope the game ships full this time, and not half the game + 5 million dlc's like last time.[/citation]
It was full. Saying this game didn't ship full is like saying Oblivion didn't ship full because it had like "5 million dlc's". The game in itself, was above and beyond what most games ship in terms of length of gameplay these days (take note Activision, EA, etc...). Without the DLC's added to it, this game was easily 40+ hours. The DLC's were definitely an afterthought though. They didn't tie into the story at all, but they did add enjoyable replay (+1 to Jakob's Cove) to an already solid game.

[citation][nom]elcentral[/nom]1 border for me were to easy the electrick guns culd prock way to much and multiple times had a usi and ewery round i shoot got me around 30 simultanies 27 electrick dmg procks so most times when bosses hit 10% i dident need to shoot no more.[/citation]
Translation: I am a dumba$$ who never bothered learning decent English.
This game looks a lot better visually than the first Borderlands. Definitely looking forward to playing this.

[citation][nom]kcorp2003[/nom]Yes i play this game if you know what is fun. I can tell you are from a young spoiled generation of gaming. Educate your mind and watch Graphics vs. Aestheticshttp://penny-arcade.com/patv/episo [...] aesthetics[/citation]
32 is not young.....developers are lazy

[citation][nom]alikum[/nom]games aren't always about graphics. You can stick with your Crysh*t while we all enjoy our borderlands gameplay.[/citation]
i don't play crysis

[citation][nom]sosofm[/nom]Great game, simple and a lot of action.[/citation]
are you calling everyone that plays this game simple minded?

[citation][nom]mobrocket[/nom]retard its called art...[/citation]
[citation][nom]JeTJL[/nom]Its called Cell Shading , Like in the Legends of Zelda: Wind Waker. It's a art style, where things don't have to look realistic. You don't have to see every single detail in the environment to play a game. And from the looks of it Borderlands 2 looks way much better than Borderlands 1, which is to be expected anyways since Borderlands 1 released a few years ago.[/citation]
games are supposed to look and feel realistic...you are supposed to get the feeling that you are in the came...these mediocre graphics distract me from becoming part of the game

[citation][nom]RADIO_ACTIVE[/nom]Not everything has to be photo realistic.[/citation]
yes it does....especially when you pay this kind of money for only maybe 20 hours of repetitive gameplay

if you say borderlands was repetitive then you are better off throwing away your console or your pc and start watching more television. If that comment of course was directed towards Borderlands.

This game follows the Diablo feature of lootfest. You kill and kill simply for more and better loot. You repeat areas for the same reason. If you really do not like that you do not play. If you think that graphics is the only thing that makes a game worth buying then i am afraid you will have to give up on gaming altogether.

The game was only 20 hours? Hmm well i have invested more than 120 hours on Skyrim and still have not finished the game. Borderlands? Well... at least 100+ hours on my first char and more than 80 hours on the second. Cooperative game? It has been awesome playing it with others.

As for the so much talked about graphics.. the graphics were meant to be this way. It is part of the game design. You like it you buy it. You do not like it you leave it be.

I had no idea that graphics superceded fun. I had so much fun playing Borderlands, laughing at the twisted humor, and enjoying the loot driven gameplay. Alas, it was a crap game, though, because it wasn't photo realistic.

Obviously games can't be good without great graphics. So until they make Angry Birds with a real slingshot, rubber chickens and actual livestock, I will not play it on my iPhone. Consumers buy based on visual stimulation, not mental or visual stim.....I think I'm on the same page now....

Meant to say:
Consumers buy based on visual stimulation, not mental stim....
Had a brain fart, pretty graphics messed up my ability to think..
