Question Visual C++ Install Issue

I am having trouble installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) - 14.3231326. When I try to install it I get this message "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available." At the bottom it says "Use source:" and gives you an option to browse. I have no idea what I would even use as a source. How do I fix this?

Why are you needing to install this manually?

Don't know how did you ran into this issue, but I usually don't face this issue. Maybe the files you codes from pc to flash drive are not done correctly. Or corrupt files occurred in the middle of downloading.

Why are you needing to install this manually?

Often times when I install a PC game it has me install a new version of Visual C++ and it won't install. I get the same issue. So I thought I would try to manually install the latest version and see what happens, and I run into this. If I could install the lastest version I wouldn't need to bother with the versions the installers for games want me to install for a while.

the game should came with the vc++ it need. and sometime they look for a specific version, not just the latest.
did you ran the install as administrator?
