Question Vivobook 15 - Keyboard Presses Keys On its Own

Hi!

My new Vivobook 15's Keyboard behaves erratically.

In the beginning, when I used to type a letter, it used to press it continuously. So, for an "r" or "m", I used to get: "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" or "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm".

After updating the drivers and disabling the hotkeys, everything started to return to normal. Now, the problem has started again, and this time its numbers. So, for a 2 or 3, I'll get: "22222222222222222222222222", or "333333333333333333333".

I don't enjoy using the on-screen keyboard, can someone suggest a solution/fix?

If it's new, it should still be under warranty?? Can you send it in for repairs?

The problem is either with the keyboard or with the software.
Me personally, I had the exact same problem and after I reinstall the Windows OS everything worked fine. So you maybe, try that or you could unscrew your laptop and check the keyboard's cable. If the problem still remains, you might think about replacing the keyboard.
