Solved! Vizio D50x-G9 TV

New Vizio D50x-G9 TV won't recognize Magnavox DVD Player MWD7006 which does not have HDMI output. Both have RCA in/out. However, Vizio TV will not recognize DVD Player. Worked fine with older TV (which we replaced). What am I doing wrong. Went to Vizio site and read everything. Help!!!

Have you selected the correct input on the TV?
Check the DVD player on another TV if you can.

Since you are using the composite connections, make sure the right cables are in the right ports (don't just go by color, actually match the connection). Assuming you are changing the input on the TV to the right one also right?
