Vizio TV can't get Sling TV

My Vizio TV can't get Sling TV. I've even contacted the manufacturer and they say it can't handle the software? It already has Amazon, Google and a number of other apps preloaded. I'm wondering if I get a Roku if that will solve the problem. Does anyone know?
