vizio tv problems

my tv keeps shutting off on its own all of the time, so timers have been set,m just started about 3-4 weeks ago tv is not even a year old yet

You did get the Extended Warranty right? That is like $25 at Wal Mart and good for 3 years. If not pop open the back of the TV and look at the Board where the Electric Cable plugs in, that is if it doesn't have a Single Board. Shutting off is a sign of bad Capacitors and is a common issue with Vizio and Samsung TV's. Look at the Capacitors and notice any sign of Bulging and Swelling. There are two things you can do, replace the Caps or if you are unsure of that replace the Power Board which runs $50 and less, most range in the $30's.

less than a year old? should still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty - contact the vendor to arrange return.
