Vizio TV Samsung soundbar connected with optical cord no sound help

I have a vizio 60in with a new Samsung hw k550, soundbar its connect but no sound is producing

Make sure you have selected the optical input on the soundbar. Then go into the TV audio menu and try a different output type. The one you are set to now may not be compatible with the soundbar. The TV volume doesn't affect the volume of the soundbar so turn it's volume up.
