Question Voice control

Recently my son (fully disabled and bed bound) has discovered Alexa, and enjoys the freedom it gives him, and wishes to extend that freedom to TV. He mainly uses Netflix and Vudu. We have tried using a fire cube, but that doesn't support vudu. Tried a Google home which just wants to cast from computer, and recently bought a vizio smart cast but Alexa doesn't support vizio apps. Is there anyway to voice control Netflix and vudu, even if it's a TV with built in mic? If so what brand or how? Thanks in advance and apologizes for long question

Did you try using a computer? Windows has pretty good accessibility options to control things.

The question is do they support Vudu and how much voice control will they give your son?
Options other than a new TV would be to get a Logitech Harmony Hub. That will interface any IR controlled equipment with Alexa.
Roku boxes have a mic built into the remote which might also be useful.
