w530 or dell4700

I certainly need another opinion after reading many reviews. w530 totally upgraded or dell precicion 4700 totally upgraded; i want it for heavy use mainly for autodesk civil 3d 2014. i don t care the 15΄ inch screen cause i ll connect it to a 24΄screen. In my mind i believe that lenovo w530 will totally rock with quadro 2000 32g ram and 500gb ssd

I like Lenovo more than Dell so I would lean more towards the W530. However....


The ThinkPad W540 is expected to be released next month. It will likely be priced higher because it is new, but it will have a 2880 x 1620 resolution screen which I believe is standard and it will have the latest Kepler Quadro graphics card. However, no info regarding exactly which models will be available (K2100m, K1100m, K610m, K510m), but I suspect the only the two higher end graphics card will be the options. It will also be slightly lighter if that means anything to you; 5.45lbs vs 5.71lbs starting weight.

that΄s a very usefull information!!! i didn t knew that. As i can see it has a num pad. another thinkpad w monster... i wonder if it will keep the quality of the previous w models...
