Want 7.1 audio

Have a foxconn PC45CMX motherboard, WIN 7 with realtek integrated sound and a 7.1 sound set. Only can hear 5.1 sound. What can I do to hear 7.1???? Please help....

Motherboard specifications page states only 5.1 audio. If you want 7.1, you'll need to add a sound card.

Wolfshadw, yes I read that from the motherboard specification. I had the faith to find a solution...Well as ypu say, also have a creative Xfi xtreme audio sound card , but it was purchase for WIN XP backthere in 2002 and it worked OK untill I update to WIn 7 and now is a headache .....Always have crakling and horrible sounds ...Not very good.....Well Thaks for yor help...

I've got a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XTremeMusic installed and running in my Windows 10 system. I seem to recall using Windows 7 drivers to get it working. It should be the same for you.
