Where can I find parts and/or where can I have a custom AMD laptop built? I want a 17.3" screen, AMD Quad-Core Processor, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD. (No HP and No DELL).

i already showed you a comparison between a i7 3770k and a a10 5800k. their mobile couterparts are the same thing, just lower clockspeed. you lower both by 10% in speed, the i7 is still twice as fast. you can support amd as much as you want, but it doesnt change the fact that faster is faster

the a6 is more comparable in CPU performance say to a pentium g620, pretty much the lowest end sandy bridge pentium you can get

heres the nice i7 vs a10 again. tell me where does the a10 beat out the i7.

as for running better, nope. its going to feel the same in stability overall

running cooler? nope. the a10 is a 100w part. the i7 3770k is a 77w part. its never going to run cooler. there is a reason there are only 2 itx fm2 boards since the APUs require the power delivery that generally exceeds what they can generally throw on that small space compared to say ivy bridge chips

This thread is being closed because it's just causing arguments.

@OP, you seem to know exactly what you want. If your mind is set, go for it. Don't ask for opinions of others though if you don't really want them.

@TheBigTroll, calm down the combative attitude or you'll find yourself on a vacation from the forums.
