want to connect my LED tv with smartphone.

i brought LG32LH517A yesterday. Now i want to connect it with my smartphone via hdmi or usb but i am unable to connect. i contacted LG but they said that it will not support smartphone. is there any way to connect it with my smartphone or Chromecast.
