Hello, I am sick of cable tv bills for channels I never watch., If I buy an antenna ( rabbit ears) where on my LG flat screen do I hook it up. I don't want to hook it up to the cable box because when I stop cable I imagine Comcast will take it away. I only want basic channels.
I have not bought the antenna yet, so I am preparing for the future, I am mechanically challenged LOL.

It should look something like this --

Yes, I do have that. so I would hook the antenna in and then just plug the chord into the outlet!. Lots of antennas out there from all prices. any suggestions on the best one for best value. thanks

If you are in the US, then antennaweb.org can help you figure out what channels you should be able to get from your location.
Otherwise indoor antennas are pretty similar. Some have amplifiers. Antennaweb can help you figure out the proper pointing of your antenna also. HD antennas don't have to be "rabbit ear" shaped any more. Many of them look like over-sized iPads. The rotation of the antenna could still change how many stations you can receive. Read the instructions for pointing guidance.
