Solved! My antenna works fine when plug to a TV but works partially when plug to House

Hello I have a very bizarre case. I have installed a GE Pro Outdoor Antenna in the roof of my house and directed the antenna towards the towers that give the signal. When I plug the antenna directly to one TV I get all the channels I was expecting to get. But when I plug in the antenna into my house that came prewired for cable I get some of the channels and others don't. I am not sure why with the same antenna in the same position I get all the channels clearly when I plug it in to only one tv and when I plug it in to my house the same tv or any other tv in my house do not get all the channels. Can you please help?

There are two kinds of amplifiers. The one in the link is to compensate for losses in the splitter and coax cables. That's the kind you need. The other kind is to increase the strength of the signal from the antenna to make more channels available. If that's the type you already have you would connect the other kind to its' output, Any splits are made just after the distribution amp.

That is signal drop due to the additional wiring. You may need to install an amplifier (if not already using one).

COLGeek, I went to the box were all the wiring for the rooms is and I saw an ampler there. So I already have an amplifier. Would a Pre- amplifier help me in this case?

Is the amp actually powered on? It could be defective (it certainly does happen).
