Want to write/do photography

My husband is convinced I need a tablet but I'm not so sure. What I really want to do it write and wotk on my photography. I am not a gamer or computer movie watcher. I need microsoft for my writing. I am thinking the Asus, but I've never heard of the brand. Any ideas or suggestions?

For that, I'd shy away from a tablet. They are more for content consumption (reading and viewing), rather than content creation (writing and photography).

Possibly try one of the convertible laptops, but I personally couldn't use just a tablet for photo work.
