Water damage issues

I spilled some water on my laptop yesterday. The laptop wasnt on. After cleaning it I turned it on and the keyboard wasnt working properly. So I unplugged everything and waited about 8 hours.
I tried again, some of the keys were working again but the password of the laptop isnt working now.
My question is: Is there any hope for my pc? What can I do?

Start by using an eternal USB keyboard to see if you can get the password to work. It is possible that one of the keys in your password isn't working.

I tried but it didnt work
When I tried to restore the system, a weird sound came near my QWERY keys. (Idk what specific component made the sound)
The model of miy computer is an ASUS RoG 7265NGW

Dont restart laptop again. First you need to let it dry for a week atleast. And you need to disassembly it for parts to dry faster and look for water damage. Hopefully only keyboard is shorting or something near that circuit on the motherboard.

Also remove battery NOW. What model laptop you have?
