ways to earn for a new gear

Just a quick question what are the most effective ways to earn for a new gear.i was thinking of blogging but it seems it wont do any good since there are too many blogs now and it seems impossible that my blog would reach a target audience so what are the other ways?

i have pretty decent rich parents so i am really not in need my only reason is that i have to wait for a whole year just to convince them to buy me new gear since old parents and newer technology dont really go hand in hand.i am a uni student from Pakistan(yes i live with my parents and so does everyone else and yes nobody in Pakistan hires a student for a job) this is my problem on the job matter
