I'm considering purchasing Webroot AntiVirus 2015 as mentioned on toms hardware sticky for $3.99. I can't believe you can get a top 3 (tied for 1st on pcmag) paid AVS for that price.
Anyways, I notice they also have a Webroot AntiVirus for PC Gamers 2015 version for $29.99. It says;
- Optimizes Your Gaming System
- No Performance Impact on Gameplay
One of the reasons I'm thinking about Webroot is that it's supposedly light on system resources. That, and it has a perfect score on handling malware.
Is the gamer version really that much better than regular version? Is it worth the extra $26.00? My new rig is pretty fast, so I can't see how regular version would effect gaming.
I will be playing games like GTA V, Call of Duty, and maybe Final Fantasy.
