Weird audio question :(

Hey guys, I got a little problem.

To make it short and sweet my back audio port will only play on the right side
and my front audio port will only play on the left side..

I've never experienced anything like this in my life, Anyone have any ideas?

The audio sockets use on mobos and cases may cost 2 cents. They are usually the the cause of problems. Unfortunately replacing them is not cost effective.

I have a spare front port.. i changed it out and same problem.. I'm curious to if its a mobo problem or a software problem

well from my experience realtek is aweful, but it sounds more like a hardware problem, do u still have a warranty on your board?

Just to be sure, check the balance settings in Windows' 'playback devices'. It's happened to me before that the balance settings had changed for a reason still unknown to me.

Nah, That's not gonna be it.. Its not showing that any audio device is plugged in.. When it is. Tried several different speakers in the right port. Does the same thing for the front port as well.. I'm about to give up >.>
