Hello, first off let me thank anybody taking the time to read this.
My problem is that whenever I attempt to play a PC game on my Panasonic Plasma HDTV (TC-P50S60) everything will be fine at first, but eventually the sound will sort of crackle and flicker out, and the game will start to lag unevenly. A few minutes in and the audio and video are so unbearably garbled and choppy I can't possibly continue playing. A few times I've let it progress to the point it froze my PC.
I'm using a clone monitor setup consisting of my normal PC monitor and my HDTV. Both displays are the same resolution. The monitor is hooked up via a DVI to hdmi adapter and my HDTV uses a 50ft HDMI 1.4 cable. The lag will occur on both displays, which leads me to believe it doesn't have anything to do with the 50ft hdmi. I've tried multiple games inlcuding: Skyrim, Saints Row IV, Dark Souls, and Guild Wars 2. All of them eventually produce the same problem.
I'm at a total loss as to why this is happening. The TV is excellent with my console games, and I've never had anything similar to this problem before on my PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
