Weird sound when watching videos

So every time i watch a video on my asus laptop, this weird robotic, buzzing sound happens. My laptop never makes that sound other than when i am watching a video. The first time it happened, the screen froze, and then i got a blue screen and the laptop restarted. I took it to Best Buy and geek squad said it was an issue with the video driver and that it shouldn’t happen again. Now this sound seems to start whenever i watch any type of video on my laptop, and i immediately close the browser because I don’t want to deal with it crashing again. I know nothing about technology and wasn’t sure if the cost to fix something like this is even worth it. Any help with what could be the issue and how much it would cost to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. This happens regardless of the browser.

Does it happen when you watch a video that is on the computer itself? Not one from the internet.
