So i have a pair of Argon Alto4 (passive version), and would like to get a recommendation on what amp to buy, since i have heard i would need an amp to connect these to my pc.

My setup is as follows.

  • ■ 2x Passive Argon Alto4
    ■ A Creative SoundBlasterZ soundcard
So what amp would you guys recommend, preferably under 100$, but can go up to 200$.

Those speakers are 4 ohms so you want an amp that is stable into 4 ohms. I couldn't find any power ratings for them but they are 84db for 1 watt which makes them relatively inefficient. If you get an amp that actually puts out from 50-100 watts into 4 ohms you should be OK. Most mini amps have very overated power specs. Sometimes with massive distortion.
Something like this would work

You are likely to get better sound with a used integrated or power amp.
