What can i do to help hd editing?

hi,
never posted on anything like this before so bare with me. I have a HD PVR for recording xbox 360 footage, my laptop is fine to do that, but when i put the files into sony vegas 11 when the video length starts to above about 2-3mins the vegas crashes if i try to render or playback.

thats the laptop i have, argos was only place i could find it for sale.

anything i can do to help or stop this apart from buying a new laptop??

Hello and welcome to the forums !
Update the GPU driver,if it didn't help,then RMA it.You probably have a defective GPU
