I like to play with my fellow friends a lot, and I was wondering if a HP 15-ac152sa could run modern games such as ARK: Survival Evolved and Battlefield 4.

I have been searching all over the internet yet I have come up without any answers to my question, so I ask you now.

Click link below for some game benchmarks for the Intel HD 4400 graphics core that is integrated in the i5-4210u. Ark is not one of the games benchmarked. Performance for BF4 is in the low 20's @ 1024x768 resolution with low graphic settings.

You can play Fallout 3 (not Fallout 4!!!) and TES: Skyrim. I have a friend that was interested in those games but he only has a laptop with a Core i5-4200u and Intel HD 4400. I have a similar laptop but it also has a dedicated GPU. I installed both games on my laptop and set them to use the Intel HD 4400. I edited the FalloutPref.ini and SkyrimPref.ini files to disable shadows and let him try out the games at 1366x768 resolution...

Since both games ran decently well at 1600x900 most of the time (30+ FPS) he decided to buy those games and play at that resolution.

Fallout 3 does not recognize the Intel HD 4400 graphics core so a modified d3d9.dll file will need to be placed in the same directory that Fallout 3 is installed to. The file was originally created to allow DirectX 8 GPU to play TES: Oblivion which was the 1st game to drop support for DirectX 8. The file can be downloaded from the following link:
