When it works it great.
When it screws up it's a nightmare.
Nothing more frustrating than stuff that only works sometimes.
There is also a matter of security since a smart home could be hacked.
Hi Rubber Duckie,
It's a great topic to be studying. In my opinion whether you're an early adopter or currently sitting on the fence, within the next decade or so smart home technology will be all around you. From voice assistants to smart appliances to the kind of smart home technology that is built into your home, see below for reference:
Smart home technology: https/www.z-wavealliance.org or https/www.zigbee.org
Smart home integrator: https/www.wirefree.com.au
Also do some research on voice assistants (Amazon Alexa, Google Home).
Cheers,
B.
