Solved! what happen if I shut down the PC when reset process in going on?

What happens when I shut down my windows 10 laptop when the resetting process is going on? Or can we stop resetting process when it is in processing? Guys please help me!!

If the reseting is taking this long, for you to have enough time to register on this forum and post, something is wrong, so may as well kill it. Next reboot it will ask if you wanna do a diagnostic, up to you.

Reset as in a factory restore to defaults? Not a good idea, you will be left with a non-booting system and may be stuck without a way to start the restore again.
