What happens to your Metro PCS service if you unlock your phone?

I'm trying to unlock my Metro PCS phone but I just paid my bill. Will my bill roll over to AT&T or do I have to sign up with AT&T?

You will need to sign up with at&t. And no, it doesn't roll over from metro to at&t
