I'm an audiophile from way back. I've owned Sony, Sennheiser, Koss, AKG, and Grado headphones. I still have the Sennheiser, AKG, and Grado ones. The best sound stage by far is with Grado, but they are open-air so they do not isolate you from the world. Grado's SR-60 and SR-80 are more than sufficient for great sound. By the way, I never listen to rap and hip-hop so take this advice accordingly.
